Lovely needles to work with and very good looking. Nice slippery wood (not too slippery) with relatively dull tips that are wearing quickly with use (similar to other knit picks wooden dpns). Nice case and the center of each needle has not snagged on my work. Also no splintering so far (used them for 2 gloves and a beanie so far.
