I was excited to get this set and opened the bag as soon as I received it. However, 2 of the "Dad" dolls were missing, even in an unopened bag. Very disappointed, so I am returning and ordering another set. Hope it works out with that set.10/03 update: Received the reorder yesterday and happy to report all were there. Very nice pieces, very smooth for painting. Guess a glitch can happen once in a while?Woodpeckers at 3-1/2 inches exceeded my expectations! Compared to my local craft store at 3 inches. Quality wood, made well, delivered quickly. Quality product and bigger in every way. They don’t fall over like the skinny ones found locally. Yes, they cost a bit more but the value is totally worth it, especially if the peg dolls will be for gifts or for sale after painting. I like to support small US businesses. I’m a new customer for life and will return for other sizes. It’s so refreshing to receive a well-made product in which the maker takes pride.I like the size of the 3 1/2” peg dolls from woodpeckers. However, this batch was not finished as nicely as the previous batch. There were some rough spots on the dolls bodies that needed additional sanding. Also, there was a ring around some of the heads, making it look like they had a beanie or helmet on.I already used before and it’s still greatthese little pegs were just what I was looking for!easy to paintshipping was fast!Wood finish is good with subtle wood grains. However, the packaging is pretty uninspiring, one of the dolls is improperly shaped and quite a few dolls wobble due to their base being improperly flattened. Still, overall you get your money’s worth.In love with my purchase of Jumbo Mom and Dad wood peg dolls.I have finally found the size I needed to craft with. Will definitely reorder.Thank you!
